Hello!! I am almost finished with Kamana One.. and I just ordered TWO.. whoo hooo.
I must say.. I am throughly hooked!!

A little about me... I'm almost a senior citizen..:-) , a retired nurse, grandmother to 9,
We live in the 'sticks' of Mississippi and are surrounded by nature. I was raised very close to Nature.. and have always wanted to get closer to the wilderness that I was familiar with.
Soooo.. that being said.. I found myself having a strong desire to learn as much about my surroundings as possible. I found Kamana through Herbmentor.. and I find myself totally involved. I feel like I have been in a fog for years.. and learning each new thing is like seeing it for the first time.

I hope to have a budding relationship with Kamana Wilderness and look forward to gleaming every article!!

Hi Rett!
I just started Kamana One and got sidetracked by a couple crazy weeks. I'm looking forward to having some time this week to work on it. I'm also an Herbmentor member!

I also was raised close to nature and got away from it as I got older (46 now), and was/still am so excited to have found the Kamana program.

Jeff (DH) and I just got back from a 2 day campout on the back side of the property where we are caretakers. It was awesome. I'm working on a blog post about our little adventure, hope to post it in the next day or two.

Glad you've joined us!

Thanks for the warm welcome!! I look forward to being a part of this group.. and I am sure you will hear from me.

I just wished we were not on the far side of the continent from the School.. or I am sure you would find me in one of the next classes.. lol

Might just do that next year.. study up some so I won't be to much of a 'dumb' redneck... lol

My husband is interested in all this also.. so finally we may have found something we can do tegether besides work.. lol

Thanks again for the warm welcome.. and you will be hearing from me .. maybe more than you wish to.

Greetings Rett,

You have a Kamana almost neighbor--I'm in Louisiana. Also retired and have been working on Kamana for the last 14 months or so and enjoying it immensely. Just finished Kamana 2 and will start up on 3 after a brief "semester" break.

I grew up in the woods, so to speak, and thought I was very well grounded in nature, but upon beginning my Kamana studies was humbled and then grew excited about how much I didn't know and looked forward to discovering. Kamana unleashes the joy of discovery!

Happy discovery,
Susan
