Congratulations, Liz, on overcoming a challenge. Since you are not the only person with ADD who may be doing sitspot, perhaps some day you could share your specific strategies and inner experiences which i bet would benefit this with and without ADD!

I love the idea of using Owl Eyes to monitor the green flies! You'll become a bird in no time! Good luck- I know these sit spot challenges can be hard. I think we have all faced them. Don't give up and NO GUILT!

I had a really good sit spot last night here in Oklahoma. My grandparents live on a golf cours and I went for a walk at dusk with my dog. We found a very nice little hill overlooking a small pond on one side, and some grass lands on the other. I wat…

Angel Fire NM (4th leg)

I'm in a beautiful part of the country right now. Angel Fire New Mexico has been my father's favored retreat from the summer heat of Oklahoma for about 30 years. He would occasionally bring my brother and I on the 9 hour drive into the mountains to stay in a large house near the golf course. I have never enjoyed golf. Down Time in Oklahoma (third leg)

The 12 hr. push to St. Louis was not too bad. Since it's the longest drive I should have on the trip, I'm glad it's in the past now. Visiting my Godfather was great. First Leg: PA

I drove 8 hrs yesterday to arrive here in Shippensburg PA to stay with friends for a couple of nights. We went on a hike and I touched a beautiful black mountain rattler on the trail. Blueberries are also in season here, this pleases me, as they are not out yet in Vermont, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts.
Before I headed out, I took time to travel to The Whites with a friend for some final New England backpacking. It was a tough first evening on the trail. The amount of rain this summer has left… Continue
