Are they just marking the boundary of the swim area; or are they also marking a shark fence? Many years ago I was in Australia and saw there swimming pools along the ocean that were fed by ocean water and open beaches that were enclosed by off shore shark fences. I have been to Bonaire, but never saw any structures like that there.
